March 7, 2017 – 171 Nigerians Including Newborn Baby Stranded In Libya Return To Lagos Nigeria

At least 171 Nigerian citizens stranded in Libya have been brought back home from the restive North African region.

The returnees arrived MMIA Airport in Ikeja Lagos aboard a Chartered aircraft operated by Burac Air.

According to NEMA Deputy Director, among the 171 returnees, were 95 females, consisting 83 adults, 10 children and two infants with 73 male adults, two children and a newborn baby.

Their return was facilitated by the International Organization of Migration (IOM) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
