December 7, 2016 – 244 Dangote Workers & Drivers Arrested For Stealing Trucks & Diverting Products, 115 Remanded In Prison Custody In Kogi State
On Tuesday, the Dangote Group of companies dismissed 109 workers at Obajana Cement Firm in Kogi state for stealing company’s properties, diversion of products and illegal haulage.
The patrol team coordinator for Kogi state, Abdulahi Magaji told newsmen at the company’s property yesterday that 115 out of the 244 workers arrested between May and November 2016 were being remanded in prison custody pending the determination of their cases.
