A reprisal attack carried out by suspected cattle rustlers against some hunters who intercepted them in Zamfara state has claimed the lives of 36 hunters.
The suspected cattle rustlers armed with dangerous weapon reportedly intercepted the hunters at Birane Village in Zurmi area of Zamfara state on Wednesday where several hunters and cattle rustlers were killed.
Here is how the state’s Police spokesman, Shehu Muhammed narrated what led to the attack;

I think those who see the Fulani rampage as Islamization process should ask themselves, why Zamfara? Is the state not Islamic enough? Sometimes some folks would let their emotions becloud their judgement; Nigeria is under attack because our leaders and system are too static. The country needs a vibrant young man with fantastic ebullience for real and relevant development not a moron that had been thoroughly enmeshed in nasty old ways. Nigerians must stand up and confront their problems without hesitation.

Something is wrong somewhere.
There is a mixup somewhere somehow.
About 36 hunters cannot just be killed like that at go as if they were chicken.
This is a clear case of fulani herdsmen vs innocent unprepared peasant farmers not hunters.
