According to officials of Federal Road Safety Commission, 3 soldiers died when the military truck carrying them engaged in an head-on collision with an on-coming truck.

A speeding 18-passenger Toyota coastal bus was also involved in the head-on collision.

Another accident was reported on Abaji-Lokoja highway where 3 people were killed instantly with 3 injured.
FRSC officials said N50,460 and a live goat was recovered from the motor accident scene.
