The APC Is an Organized Party – Nollywood Actor, Aina Gold Estate Owner Confesses
Top Nollywood actor turned real estate mogul, Aina Gold who joined the Alliance for democracy party in 2017 to contest for election and lost woefully has revealed why he returned to the APC, a party he now calls home.
In a chat with YMG publisher Gbolahan Adetayo in his office in Lagos, Aina Gold revealed at length what prompted his return to the All Progressive Party.
“Everybody knew that I have been a member of APC since 1999, from AD to AC to ACN and now APC but people hardly tag me as a politician even when I go for the meetings, they will say you are an actor what are you looking for? It was at that point that I took it upon myself that I have to do something and that was what brought about that contest on the platform of AD.
Immediately after that election, I hastily returned home and rejoined my party which is APC and in the party, you don’t just do things anyhow, you follow the leadership and it is what they want that you will make your plans around with.
You can’t do anything that will be negative to the party. So, for now I am not contesting for anything in 2019 but I’m really involved in all political activities that will make all our candidates win in this ongoing general elections.
