UK-based Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola just penned a touching tribute to veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Ajayi who passed away yesterday at the age of 82.
The tribute reads;
“This was a woman of high esteemed value… A friend n mother to all, a confidant to so many of us. She was full of love, and so full of life. Ever ready to help, and always ready to lend a helping hand… Despite her enormous fame and popularity, this beautiful soul never allowed fame to take her path away from her faith and believe in the righteousness of the Almighty God. How best can such a wonderful woman be compensated? Than to be highly celebrated much more than this.
So comforting was the fact that, Almighty Allah gave her the grace to see the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, few days after her much deserved and celebrated birthday… It is so obvious you will be fondly missed, for your numerous valuable contribution to the global entertainment industry, and for been such an important part of the glory we all share today. Rest on mama Ajayi… And may your gentle soul continue to rest peacefully in the presence of Almighty Allah(amin).”
