Barren Woman, Trader Commits Suicide Over Poverty Near Onitsha In Anambra State

In this era of recession, cases of suicides seem unending.
Another woman has taken her own life in Anambra state.
The latest victim of suicide has been identified as 38-year-old Lovina Odo, a barren woman who married about 8 years ago.
According to the husband of the deceased trader, Mr Okechukwu Odo, Lovina reportedly took her own life around 5pm yesterday at their home in Nkpo Agu area of Anambra state.
Though her husband denied she left a suicide note, those who saw her lifeless body before he (the husband) arrived from his car wash shop said Lovina wrote this note:
“I can no longer continue in these endless begging of daily meal. The hardship seems endless and I can no longer keeping patching it.”
Okechukwu said he had no misunderstanding with his wife before he left home yesterday.
Her corpse has been deposited at Iyienu Mission Hospital mortuary.
