The family of Evans has begged Lagos to temper justice with mercy and give him a chance to change.
His wife, Precious said she was not aware that her wealthy husband was a kidnapper until he was caught.
In a chat with Vanguard, Precious said Evans presented himself to her as a God fearing man who always led the family in prayer. She said his favourite Bible chapter is Psalm 23.
