Ways To Protect Yourself From Cancer If You Live In Nigeria Or Other Parts Of Africa

how to protect yourself from cancer nigeria africa

Hello everyone

How are you doing. This is NG keeping in touch with everyone. Hope you are all doing well. Please stay alert, things are happening.

I’m very sorry I have not been updating you for a while but very soon, power will change hands, I will be able to update you more.

I noticed something very concerning going on in Africa especially Nigeria and all over the world.

I’m so much concerned about the rate at which Cancer is killing people in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

The problem we have is that we have become westernized and have let go of the herbs God created to treat humanity.

If you look around, we now have thousands of fast food restaurants in top cities in Nigeria and Africa, this is the number one cause of cancer in our society today.

The farming sector has also become so commercialized that farmers are now opting for GMO seeds in order to increase profit.

If I’m to keep going, this page will not contain the major causes of cancer in Nigeria but in my upcoming series of articles, I will give you more tips.

The koko of this article is how to protect yourself from Cancer in Nigeria. If you live anywhere in Africa, this will apply to you as well.

Stop Eating Unhealthy Foods

A lot of us are now overdosing on unhealthy foods with saturated fats. If at this stage you are still eating fried foods, you are on your own. Let go of frying,  please grill or bake your food.

Saturated and unsaturated fats are your enemies. Cooking with oils rich in monounsaturated fatty acids like Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Instead of cooking with Vegetable oils you buy in Nigerian markets, go and get yourself extra virgin olive oil. That is your best bet, it will lower your cholesterol level.

Make sure the oil you are buying is extra virgin and not regular olive oil.

Another great oil you should consider using when cooking is Avocado oil. Avocado oil is a good source of monounsaturated fat which has been linked to reducing LDL cholesterol and increasing HDL cholesterol.

Run away from palm oil as they are now being grown from GMO seeds from the Philippines. Most palm oil being cultivated in Nigeria is meant for enriching the farmers and not the consumers. Please do me a favour, let go of palm oil consumption for now.

Another article I will be writing soon is about unhealthy list of unhealthy foods killing Nigerians.

Protect Yourself From Radiation From Masts and Radio Stations

If you live nearby a telecommunication mast or your house is nearby a radio station, do yourself a favour, please relocate.

The amount of radiation being emitted from these places is way too much and unhealthy for our body cells. A word they say is enough for the wise.

I will soon write an eye opening article on how big telecommunication giants are exposing Nigerians to unhealthy level of radiation daily.

What Happen To Fasting? – What About Free Radicals From Pollution.

If you don’t fast, there is no way you can detox your body from free radicals you come in contact with daily on Nigerian and African roads.

Green Tea Is Your Friend

To detox your body, please fast at least 2 times a week. Dose more on Green Tea, it is one of the best anti inflammatory teas on earth.

It Is Time To Fall In Love With D3

Don’t forget to use Vitamin D3 supplement too if  you can, it is a great anti inflammatory supplement.

Don’t Drop Your Face Mask In A Hurry

Our environment is full of pollution since there is no strict regulation and air quality check in Nigeria. The pollution we are exposed to daily is the source of most of our health woes. So the next time you are going out, please do yourself a favour, wear your face mask.

Covid-19 is not the only reason we should put on our mask, pollution is another factor that calls for constant masking in Africa.

Accumulation of free radicals in the body is the number one cause of inflammation that exposes our body cell to cancer. So ensure you stay away from polluted areas as much as you can.

Let’s Go Back To Da Village

If you can afford it, live in country areas or in places where there are not a lot of pollution.

Know Where Your Water Is Coming From

Due to over commercialization of farming, a lot of farmers in Nigeria are using pesticides and these pesticides are finding ways into our waters during rainfall.

Please stop drinking water from anywhere anyhow. Remember we drink a lot in Africa due to our dry and humid weather. It is highly essential we take this seriously.

Know Where Your Food Is Coming From

This is very important, gone are days when people blindly go shopping at the market. If you are among those who just go to the market to shop without knowing where your food are coming from, you are in for a big shock.

Most supplier of foods in today’s market are those who invested millions of naira in GMO farming with the hope of making good returns on investment. Since most people are now investing in farming with the promise of good returns, top agro-investment companies in Nigeria are using GMO seeds that are highly disease resistance.

Even though there is no evidence that GMO food will increase your risk of getting cancer, it will add no significant value to strengthening your immune system.

Stop Shopping At Top Foreign-Rooted Supermarket, They Bring Expired Foods To Nigeria

When you talk about shoprite and other top abroad-rooted supermarket chain in Nigeria today, these chains are selling expired foods to Nigerians. Knowing fully well that most people here don’t worry too much about the expiration dates, they just stock their shelves with expired foods gathered from overseas.

Watch out for Lebanese owned, Italian owned, Indian owned and Chinese owned restaurants and supermarkets. These crooks are getting their way due to the corrupt nature of government officials at port of entries in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.

I went to a supermarket about last month and to my surprise most of the foods on their shelves are expired foods from UK top supermarkets.

I was thinking to myself, why are these people bringing expired foods into Nigeria, are they preying on our lack of exposure or what exactly is the problem.

I saw some Nigerians picking most of these expired food items without bothering to double check the expiration dates.

Most of the foreign nationals running grocery-chains in Nigeria are bringing cheap expired and rejected foods into the country.

If you want to protect your family, shop at local stores that bring produce from local farmers. Shop local if you want to stay healthy and safe.

Reduce Your Carbohydrate Intake & Sugar Consumption

Cancer cells thrive on Sugar.

Both simple and complex carbohydrates break down into glucose (aka blood sugar). A simple carb is one that’s comprised of one or two sugar molecules, while a complex carb contains three or more sugar molecules. So if you eat a lot of carbohydrate, you are fueling your body with foods that cancer loves. Be careful how you dose on  carbohydrate.  I will write more on this in my upcoming articles.

Beware Of Inflammation Sources

Cancer starts when the powerhouse of our body cell (Mitochondria) is exposed following inflammation.

Top causes of inflammation to the body includes exposure to cancer causing chemicals (aka carcinogens) from skincare, haircare, environment; exposure to radiation, external injuries like those that happen when we have injuries, exposure to pathogens (germs) like viruses, bacteria and fungi.

Apart from inflammation, another thing that causes damage to our mitochondria is any source of external or emotional stress. So watch out for your stress level.

Cancer Is A Metabolic Disease & Not Only A Genetic Disease

Cancer is a metabolic disease and not only genetic.  It is a failure in the mitochondria which leads to cancer cells.

You need lots of rest, antioxidants, healthy plant based diet, detox through fasting and diet control and exercise to prevent cancer.
