While Catholic faithfuls were celebrating Sunday mass yesterday in Umuchu area of Aguata LGA of Anambra state, a sudden death turned their joy into sorrow.
82-year-old Reverend Father Emmanuel Idika slumped right infront of the congregation yesterday while conducting Sunday mass at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Umuchu town.
Church workers quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
His corpse was also deposited at the Visitation Hospital Mortuary in Umuchu town.
