October 1st, 2016 – CBN Governor’s Wife Margaret Emefiele Rescued From Kidnappers Den In Ugoneki Edo State
The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele is currently in Delta State to reunite with his wife, Margaret Emefiele who was kidnapped on her way to her husband’s kinsmen town along Benin-Agbor road in Edo State on Thursday.
She was rescued at Ugoneki village near Benin city around 12:30am on Saturday by heavily armed security men.
Margaret is currently recovering at Delta State Government House in Asaba Delta State.
