A popular figure in Ibadan has passed on.

The boxing lover and the founder of D’Rovans Hotel (now Walan Hotel) on Ring Road in Ibadan gave up the ghost on Friday the 7th of May 2016.

According to a family source, the business mogul who battled partial stroke until the point of his death died of heart attack while receiving treatment at the University College Hospital in Ibadan on Friday night.

He was initially admitted to Police Hospital in Eleyele Ibadan before doctors referred him to UCH were he stopped breathing on Friday night.

The deceased who died at age 69 is survived by his wives and many children.
