Since the news of the birth of her triplets, Nigeria’s 1st Olympic Gold medalist, Chioma Ajunwa Okpara has vanished into thin air. naijagists.com
According to fans and friends, she has decided to stay away from the public since she delivered her triplets, a girl and two boys few weeks ago.
We learnt her excited fans are very disappointed for not being able to reach her or celebrate with her.
According to sources at Meiran Police station where she’s the Divisional Police Officer, she has been on maternity leave since her delivery.
Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi posted this on her status during the news of Chioma’s delivery:
“This God is too much! Join me to rejoice for He has done it again. My sister and Auntie, Mrs. Chioma Ajunwa Okpara, Nigeria’s first Olympic gold medallist has just been delivered of triplets after years of waiting on the Lord.”
People who saw Chioma 2 months before the delivery claimed there was no sign that she’s pregnant.
This however caused speculations that she might have adopted the kids.
All efforts to contact Chioma has proved abortive as her whereabouts since she gave birth’re unknown.
Her continued silence has stirred controversies and she also failed to pick her calls.
Chioma who shot into limelight in 1996 after she won gold medal for Nigeria in long jump in Atlanta Olympics wedded Pastor Okpara of chapel of Destiny Restoration Church in Lagos 8 years ago.
She was promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP. She has served the Nigeria Police in different divisions before her posting to Meiran Division in Lagos in May this year as the DPO.
Her admirers who wanted to visit Chioma at home to congratulate her were more confused because nobody knows exactly where she lives. While some of them believe she resides around Meiran, others think she lives in Festac.
Weeks after the reported birth of the triplets, no one has seen them, their mother or seen their photographs, thus making Chioma’s teeming admirers confused.
Even if she adopted those triplets, she shouldn’t have shied away from the public.

please people should let mrs chioma be. She has a reason for hiding herself and the children. Someone that has been waiting for this blessing since and now God answer them. People should know that she is a public figure and people with different minds, good and evil. My aunty, continue thanking your God he will do more of these in Jesus name.
