Comedian Alibaba & Nordica Clinic Offer Free IVF Fertility Treatment For 10 Childless Couples

Sunday January 22, 2017 – Comedian Alibaba Sponsors IVF, Fertility Treatment For 10 Childless Couples

Comic star Alibaba has added medical help to his comic therapy.

The notable comedian is now offering to help 10 childless couples.

The comedian in conjunction with Fertility Treatment Support Foundation and Nordica fertility clinic will help the childless couple realise their baby dreams.

Ali Baba’s involvement is expected to drive more corporate and individual support to the project, whereby Nordica, a fertility clinic, will provide free comprehensive fertility assessment to 20 selected couples out of which the 10 will be further selected.

Reports say Ali Baba was inspired to support the cause when he walked into Nordica and was moved by the emotional outpour of a woman, who just went through a successful embryo transfer after failed attempts from two cycles of in vitro fertilization (IVF).

IVF is an assisted reproductive technology (ART); a process of fertilization by manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish, and then transferring the embryo to the uterus.

Immediately the news was broken that the transfer had been successful and that she is confirmed pregnant, Ali Baba was touched by the uncontrollable emotional outpour that followed.

“Yes, this is more often the kind of scenario we witness regularly at our center when couples especially women who have undergone successful fertility treatment and embryo transfer receive the news that they would soon be holding their babies to complete their family dream”, said, Dr. Abayomi Ajayi, Medical Director at Nordica Fertility Centre, Lagos.

According to Dr Ajayi, the gesture by Ali Baba will go a long way to help the selected lucky couples with fertility challenges to have the much needed opportunities to be screened, treated and offered IVF to complete their families.

To participate in the process, he said, fertility challenged couples are to send a two-minute video of their fertility journey from their regular phone number registered on Whatsapp or a short story of their fertility journey of not more than 250 words to 0906 795 4727 on Whatsapp or via email to [email protected].

The content of the video and/or short story must include how long the couple have been married, their names, ages and email address.
