Contact Lens Stuck In Woman’s Eye For 28 Years Turns Into Lump In Her Eyelid

This is what happened to a 42-year-old British woman who thought she lost her contact lens in her teenage years.

She was shocked to the bone when she discovered the lens had turned into a lump in her left eyelid.

Surgeons later came to her rescue when they found the lens still intact and embedded into her eyelid skin tissue.

This made her to remember an incident that happened when she was 14 years old when she thought a shuttlecock that hit her left eye had forced the lens to flow out but she was wrong.

All the bizarre swellings in her eye came down after the lens was surgically removed.
