Gospel star Obiwon has slammed OAP Daddy Freeze who is bent on destroying the images of Nigerian Pastors encouraging their followers to pay tithe.
Obiora Obiwon took to Instagram few hours ago to pen an open letter to Daddy Freeze, urging him to stop fighting for God and rather allow God to fight for himself.
His words:
“Freeze my brother, I love you and appreciate the times you supported my music. Here’s my reply to your advice to me. .
We can quote scriptures back on forth on this tithe matter and I have quoted many myself, but such strivings would be fruitless, and we would be sinning in the light of 2nd Timothy 2:23, no matter which side you’re on. .
One thing I believe and you must know about Jehovah God, the Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is that neither you nor I nor any human being for that matter can fight for Him. He is big enough and powerful enough to fight for Himself. My little experience with Him is that you allow God to prove Himself by Himself, in the course of time.
Jesus is jealous for His Church you know, so the matter of who’s right or wrong, who’s cheating and deceiving in the whole rouse of tithing in churches, will surely be settled; and it will be clear for all to see who’s side God is on. I believe we will see it sooner or later, in our lifetime.
So my own advice is, allow God to fight for Himself and prove Himself with His mighty acts. Of course He is looking intently and watching right now how we all are carrying on with this, especially in the light of the greatest commandment which He gave us, which is Love. .
I hope you get to share this too with your followers, so that they also will take heed and not err constantly with insults, dishonourable words and actions against individuals and against the body of Christ, which do not please God. .
For me I consciously chose to leave everything and follow Christ, so I’m glad to bear His marks in my life and ministry (Galatians 6:17). The life and walk in Him is too sweet and precious to give up for anything else in the world!

Well said, let us leave this tithe thing for God and he will fight those who take the tithe and use it for their own purpose instead of using it for the church.Let us allow this issue to rest

If Daddy Freeze is taking on pastors, he’s certainly on the part of the truth. This is not to say Daddy Freeze is fighting for God as no human can do that for him. Jesus emphasized that it would get to a period of time when people will know the truth and truth will set them free. That is certainly what is happening on the social media regarding the issue of tithe today. The 2timothy 2:23 the writer quoted is completely irrelevant in this issue of tithe because people are being kept in spiritual darkness and need the truth to liberate them from false teaching and false religion. The truth regarding tithing has been clearly made manifest in the scripture for whoever cares to want to know. Searching for the truth has nothing to do with argument spoken of in the book of (2timothy 2:23). People have every right to ask question regarding matter of doctrinal teachings in so many religion and be put through. In fact that is what the bible encourages every lovers of truth to do. So people should let Daddy Freeze alone!. He is not the bible that spoke against the tithe that pastors are quoting (Malachi 3:10) to rob people of there money. Whoever love the truth should leave at once any religion that is not practising what the bible teaches. Because the destruction of false religion will certainly arrive. In (mathew 7:13) Jesus said wide and spacious is the road leading to destruction and many are the one passing through it. Let us leave that religious wide road many are currently passing that will lead them to destruction by searching for the truth in the bible.

I suggest we allow people like Daddy Freeze who are coming out to expose the truth behind this tithe so it will checkmate the gullible pastors. Personally, I don’t like tithe, I rather give my money to a fellow in need or I give an NGO I trust who are actually helping people. I suggest everybody does the same as we have been put on this earth for each other, to help each other. By doing so, we help God in many ways.
Secondly, I’d also say if anyone hears this and still continues to pay tithe, let him/her pay. For real!
Sometimes we need something…anything to make our Faith grow stronger like a placebo given in the hospitals, this tithe paying can actually be found to heal and help Christians for real because it helps in increasing their Faith in things hoped for.
This faith however is inside ALL of us and can be increased without paying tithes. We as humans are more powerful than we think or know. Remember we are just using approx. 20% of our brain capacity according to science. Imagine what will happen when more is harnessed through faith. Science and technology are the closest things to miracles, Miracles are science/technology yet unexplained.
Increase your Faith through whatever right means suits you. We have the power to attract whatever we want.

My candid advice is simple. If u r a tither n it use to profit u, then continue if not, discontinue.
But just in addition to that n in portraying what d musician said earlier, Leave God to fight for Himself. Freez, God does not need ur help to prevail in this matter. Just hold on n hold out. Seeking cheap popularity will lead u to doom in this matter that concerns God.

I do not think that man is seeking cheap popularity by exposing the truth that is already in the scripture that has long been buried by the clergy of christendom churches for there selfish interest. There is far more to tithe than merely quoting malachi 3:8-11. To get the overall fact, you have to meticulously study the entire law of moses and see full detail on what tithing is all about and why it was instituted by God and for whom. You also have to study the christian greek scripture which is the new testament to know if christian are still under the law of moses that permitted tithing and what standard of donation or giving is permitted in the church. If you’ve discovered that a certain christian practice or doctrine is a lie, I don’t think it would be wise to advise others to either continue with such religious practise or desist from it. Effective and intense bible study shows clearly that tithing has no place in christianity.

Daddy Freeze can quote the biblr from now til Heaven comes,he’ll not be right.If you say homosexuality is a sin,then not paying tithe is a sin according to Malachi 3:8-11.If you because it is in the Old testament and as such cannot be true,then homosexuality is not trur too as it is stated in the Old testament. There is no wkaing of anyone here,just someone the devil is using in these last days to turn the minds of Christians from the righteous path.Beware of another gospel than that of God and our Savior JESUS Christ.
