Lilian was suspended on the 5th of June, 2012 for allegedly getting drunk and acting inappropriately.
She was spotted on several occasions drinking herself to stupor and vomiting.
“The House has been brought to ridicule by the member representing Ivo State Constituency, Lilian Igwe,” Blasé Orji, the member representing Afikpo South East said while moving the motion, on Tuesday, to suspend Igwe (PDP, Ivo), “She does not only engage in excessive alcoholic drinking, she also boards commercial tricycles, popularly called KEKE NAPEP, to the House, thereby not carrying herself as an honourable member. Mr Speaker, based on this therefore, I move a motion that Hon Lilian Igwe be suspended from the House.”

D truth is she is not fit to b an honourable cos she doesn’t ve what it tks to be one. A woman for dat mata & which example is she showing to woman? Infact she should b droven totally frm d house.

For a woman to drink to stupor, it is abominable. But the her choice of taking Keke NAPEP home is no big deal, because those who board the tricycle don’t breath a different life. Infact that is what is expected of all honourable (humourable) members. In the UK, members ot the parliament also join cabs.

To me, i can’t just pass judgement on her without putting something into consideration. This woman might be under going some kind of spiritual attack. Do you think she would be voted for if she acts like this before she became a member? NO! Therefore, one should’nd make haste in passing judgement on her. May God have mercy on her.

So unfortunate that this ,kind of thing happened,not just to anybody perse,but 2 a woman 4 that matter!If it’s spiritual God shld shield her,if not God should see hr tru,cos nobody could hav nominated her in this state,but all the regards go to God bad or good!
