The Chief Accountant of Delta State University (DELSU), and a staff in the University’s bursary department have been arrested for defrauding the institution of over 21 million naira. naijagists.com

We learnt the Accountant whose name has been withheld hired 4 fake licensing officers that specialize in the issuance of fake licences to motorists in Asaba, Delta State.

Delta State Police command spokesman, Charles Muka who confirmed the story said the suspects have been arrested and that they’ve confessed they used the money in buying cars and other properties.

At the time of their arrest, several items which include a Nissan Car, TV, Lands, buildings, a Jeep and N400,000 cash were seized from them.

Musa further stated they will soon be charged to court.
