April 15, 2013 – Dino Melaye Escapes Assassination Attack In Abuja; Hired Assassins Attacked Him At NNPC Towers

Former Nigerian senator and right-wing activist Hon. Dino Melaye is very happy to be alive today. He apparently escaped a planned assassination attempt in Abuja today.

On Monday night, the ex-law maker was returning home from a function when all of a sudden some suspected hired assassins blocked his car very close to NNPC towers.

The assassins driving a white Golf car began shooting at him.

Dino Melaye managed to escape but two bullets hit the windscreen of his car.

The former Kogi state lawmaker said “he thank God he is alive”

He further said “When you fight corruption, corruption fights back strongly,”

The former PDP member is a popular government critic who led January 2012 fuel subsidy protest.

See Dino Melaye’s survival tweets below;

The Lord is my light & my salvation;whom shall I fear?d Lord is d strength of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?when d wicked,even mine enemies and my foes,came upon me to eat up my flesh,they stumbled and fell.

Thank goodness for his miraculous survival.
