TREM founder, Bishop Mike Okonkwo has advised Pastor whose prophecies failed to come to pass to bury their pride and apologise to their followers.

Here is what Okonkwo said in an interview with Leadership Newspaper

“Anyone who makes a prophetic declaration let him stand by his prophetic declaration, if it didn’t come to pass let him come and apologise to the church that he lied.

“There is nothing wrong that you make a prophesy and out went over the bar, come to church and tell the church that you lied.

“What annoys me is that you come and begin to paint it, I didn’t say it this way because I said it this way, that is nonsense. You make a prophesy, it fails, you are a human being, come to the church and say I fail.”

  1. 1 Timothy 4″They will listen to what is said about spirits and follow the teaching about demons” true prophecy from the living God will never become in vain. So they a fulfilling the scriptures.

  2. One of our greatest problems in Nigeria is the love to hear prophecy! It has been bastardized by sons of disobedience(devil). These folks loud their instincts or ‘tis-a-tas of human behavior not that of the Holy Ghost. Religious leaders in well-settled societies don’t do this nonsense, only in backward societies do people crave it.

  3. The Pastors are mere mortals and human. They cannot change how God want to strucure our lives. We are so dependent on their prophesy to some certain extent that we have turned them to Demi God.

If some people want to eat, they want to ask their Pastor, if they want to pee, they want to ask their Pastors even common head ache they will quickly rush down to their Pastors. We cannot think straight again in proffering solutions to our problems until we listen to these fake prophesy. By doing so, we have opened a way for thieves who use Bible and Jesus name to rip us off.

There is difference in worshiping God and going to Church to hear prophesy. God is a perfect master planner who sees everything. He knows what is good for each individual and whatever you deserve, he will give you. He will do the right thing for you when he thinks it’s right time to do it. Most of the prophesy you hear from these Pastors may not even be one tenth of what God has in stock for you. God at times does not reveal all his intentions to any human and whatever he wants to do, he will do it without hindrance no human or Pastor can change that.
