Lottery is a good thing if played moderately. It is one of the ways to challenge poverty,if the government are involved and know how to make profit and it will help to fund developmental projects in the country.Without lottery, no American state can adequately fund its education, in fact, the state of New Jersey (winners and government) make more money than we(Nigeria) make on oil.

Good but breeds addiction if not probably managed just like marijuana legalization.state of NJ adopted online betting which was initiated by last administration of gov christie which was hard fought after supreme court ruling.new york is fighting to pass theirs in their assembly.doubt such statistics will bring money naija make in oil which is trending over 70 per barrell in bent sweet crude.many gamble bt fewer than ten percent of jerseyans see the money.such facts is misleading.
