Dec 4th, 2013 – Former ASUU President Festus Iyayi’s Murder: Activists Protest In Lagos

Human right activists under the umbrella of CDHR (Committee for Defence of Human Rights) took to the streets of Lagos state Nigeria today to protest the unjust murder of former President of ASUU, Prof Festus Iyayi that happened during an accident involving the convoy of Kogi State Governor Idris Wada few weeks ago.

It is quite unfortunate and disheartening that this ugly incident occurred
through the convoy of the Kogi State Governor Idris Wada. In fact, it is a bad omen for the entire Kogites. Our governor’s convey is known for accident(Idris Wada’s).
What is wrong with this man that has nothing to offer us?
Idris Wada should make press statement to clear the air and as well proof to the entire Nigerians that The Prof was not murdered by one of those policemen in his convoy.

Is like dis activists has joined some useless politicians to run down de present government, pls dis hatred toward Jonathan government is not fair. U people should reconsider. Am a student, initially i tot it is a strikes dat will bring betterment to Us (students) but i have now see it as a combination of regions fight and political fight. U people should leave him alone. As far as ASUU is concern dis present government has try, allow him to face ASUP own pls haters.
