Ex-Governor of Jigawa State Sule Lamido and his sons were arraigned last week on 28-count of corruption and money laundering charge before a Federal High Court in Kano.

The accused denied the charges and asked the court to grant their bail application, a request that was rejected by the presiding judge.

The trio (Sule, Aminu & Mustapha Lamido) were flown to Abuja yesterday for their bail application scheduled for today, Tuesday, the 14th of July , 2015.

Lamido’s plight should serve as warning to other politicians who got away with corruption under Jonathan.
