Feb 9, 2015 – Fulani Herdsmen Raped & Killed Woman On Cassava Farm In Oja Odan, Yewa Ogun State
A woman has been found hacked to death on her cassava farm in Yewa North LGA of Ogun State.
According to Oja Odan community residents, the mother of 3 identified as Mrs Balogun was said to have gone to harvest cassava for garri production on her farm over the weekend when the suspected fulani cattle rearers attacked her.
The community leader appealed to Governor Amosun to help secure lives of Oja Odan residents.
He said the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the people and herdsmen last year has not curbed the attacks.

Diz herdsmen are like a plague 2 any community they enta. Evry nw & den we hear dis bitter news, &we’r 4sd 2 swallow it dwn on account of one brainwashing MoU dat hypnotises d host community while @d same time makes allowance 4 doze unrepentant herdsmen 2 breach it.
Diz Fulanis cherish a single bull more dan 10 humans; they invade ur farmland & destroy ur livelihood, & wen u raise ur voice u bleed; & then, being short of ideas, ur ppl would go bak & start reading parchment of spell-binding phrases dat they hav agreed 2 call MoU.
Things would hav been diff if host communities alwz followd it up wit a promt reprisal each time diz herdzmen struck, so dat b4 d govt coms in, there would hav been equal, or beta still, mor casualties on d Strangers’ Camp.

Until the Government provide a law guiding the Herdsmen,(Cow Barns) should be a mandatory for all the Herdsmen, otherwise the attack,killings and destruction of farms crops by the Herdsmen would continue,most of them are the high-ways robbers pretending to be Herdsmen.
