Born in Mbaise Imo State in the Eastern part of Nigeria on the 3rd of May 1979, Genevieve is the definition of multi-talented. She was the fourth child in a family of 10 with her father Theophilus Nnaji being an engineer and her mother, Benedatte Nnaji also being a nursery school teacher. She has a female child named Chimebuka Nnaji which many called her younger sister till today.

Genevieve had her secondary school in Methodist Girls College in Yaba Lagos, where she had her first professional role in a soap opera titled The riddles. She later attended the prestigious University of Lagos where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Creative Arts.

She started attending auditions while she was in the university and ever since she got her big break it has been a spiral of fame and success for her.
She had her first movie role in a movie titled “Most Wanted” and has since gone to feature in over 400 films over the years. After a while acting,  Genevieve has also had a stint in the music industry, signing with popular Ghanian music record label EKB, she released some songs under this label with her most stunning feat being the release of her debut album titled “One Logologo”.

The album consisted of 8 tracks and was released on January 1st 2004. The album featured some of the biggest stars of that time such as Obour and Kobi Antwi.
Her music career was not as successful as her acting career and she abandoned it after a while.
