Jan 12, 2015 – Genevieve Nnaji Calls For Prayer For Nigeria, Urges Citizens To Keep Up Hope

After a series of violent suicide bombings that claimed so many lives this past week, Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has called on all Nigerians to not despair and pray for the country.

She took to her IG early Monday morning to say “We lose everything when we lose hope. Keep faith alive and pls #PrayForNigeria wherever you are. #OurLivesMatterToo. Thank you and God bless.”

Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola and other Nollywood icons are not taking part in the ongoing Nollywood campaign for Jonathan headed by AGN President Ibinabo.

If truely we have the spirit of praying for this great country Nigeria, the Lord will surely grant us our request, the prayer must start from where You and I stand overthere.
May the Lord answer all our good prayers over Nigeria in Jesus name(AMEN).

Meanwhile so many pray, the hooligans carry execute their plots to destroy innocent lives. Prayer is one of the reasons Nigeria is in this mess. Jesus cannot do anything for the weak and innocent. Only the determined will of the people will enable them to defeat the “pack of hooligans.”

The security forces and the people should give the government an ultimatum: “wage all-out war against the blasted rebels or we will do it.” Let President Jonathan continue to use rice to buy vote. That kind of strategy is very disgusting.

Genevieve deserves total respect for that great decision she has made.

I fully salute her the wise steps she has taken, not for the love of money but for the love of other people’s lives.

    Long live Gene.

God bless you Genny, you have showed that your conscience and honor cannot be bought. Shame on the rest that for the sake of money have decided to sell their brain and morals, but they will fail. Nigerians vote wisely, make a decision based on the conviction of your heart and don’t be swayed by the selfish interests of others
