Governor Ajimobi’s mother is dead.
Alhaja Sikirat Abeje Ajimobi, the mother of present Oyo State Governor died at the age of 85.
She died yesterday at her home in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria after a brief illness.
The special adviser to Governor Ajimobi confirmed this in a press release yesterday.
In her lifetime she was a devoted Muslim and a popular trader.
She is survived by her 9 children and grandchildren.
Alhaja Ajimobi’s burial is set for today July 19, 2012 at 2pm at her matrimonial home located at Johnson Awe St in Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
