Attention all women, NCCWO, a Catholic women organization in Nigeria is using this medium to raise an awareness on the upcoming husbands scarcity dilemma that will be hitting Nigeria come 2023.
The future of this country is going to be very bleak for the male-child. How many girls do you see hawking clothes? Go to Onitsha, they are all men. We have looked round and have come to see that there is a neglect of boys in education. Who are the armed robbers on the streets? They are mostly the boys. Let us concentrate on training the boys.”
“The NCCWO feels that a vacuum is being created, and very soon, we shall be faced with a situation where our educated girl-child will not find a corresponding suitable boy-child to marry.
This is because more boys drop out of school, apparently because the high rate of unemployed youth discourages our young boys from appreciating the need to be educated.”
In the near future, quality husbands will become extremely scarce, with too many highly educated women looking for husbands, and settling for any type of husbands, just to get married. The result of this type of situation is better imagined and will not augur well for Nigerians.” – said Chief Felicia Onyeabo, National President of NCCWO
Do we have to wait till 2023 to know that quality husband is already scarce in this country?

ur prediton is not far from d truth, is just dat ur case study is been consentrated in d eastern part of Nigeria. But were am coming from d boy are sent to school more dan d girls so i can say in year 2020 there wun’t be educated wivies to marry. In a noght shell lets encourage all children to go to school. I truly believe on the prediction of this group, though this issue is caused by a compounded problems, the true is not far fetch. ¹. 60% of male students in all our higher institutions are struggling to train themselves with petty biz to face d huddles of a strenuous n tough educational settings in Nigeria. while the females have all the backings parents n society at large, with d help of “sugar daddy n even the lecturers who help in spoiling the girl child. so the “Runs girls” shouldn’t expect some guys to pledge them for marriage after being used n dumb by d so call sugar daddy. so ur prediction is quit noted.
