It was obviously a sad day for one of Nigeria’s powerful and most influential beauty queens, Irene Onwuka and family as they buried their grand mother who died at the age of 87 years.

Late Esther Ogbuebelie Eke Igwe from Igbere, Bende Local Government area who lived a life worthy of emulation was committed to mother ‎earth with the funeral ceremony conducted between September 22nd and 23rd.

Speaking to cross section of journalists who stormed the event, Queen Irene Onwuka said” it’s sad to lose a loved one and grand mother but in truth it was a celebration of life well spent, she had a good heart and her legacy lives on….Adieu Mama”

The outspoken Abuja based ex- beauty ‎queen who is a role model to many returned back to Abuja over the weekend to witness the grand finale of Miss Ambassador For Peace Pageant and awards.
