September 11, 2017 – INEC Ordered To Resume Dino Melaye’s Recall Process As Court Dismissed Suit Filed By Senator
A Federal High Court in Abuja today ordered INEC to immediately resume the process of recalling Senator Dino Melaye from the Senate.
Justice Nnamdi Dimgba today dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Senator representing Kogi West challenging the validity of the recall process.
In his judgement today, Justice Dimgba terminated the earlier order made by Justice John Tsoho on July 6 2017 directing INEC and Melaye to maintain status quo.
