Isheri Estates Community, ISECOM: A Ghost Town Where Homeowners Become Targets For Kidnappers
Feb 26, 2017 – Isheri Estates Community, ISECOM: A Ghost Town Where Home Owners Have Become Targets For Kidnappers
This sleepy town located between Lagos and Ogun states is gradually becoming a ghost town.
In the past two years, Isheri has caught the attention of kidnappers. Homeowners and residents have become cash-cow targets for kidnappers.
The abduction in that corridor on Lagos-Ibadan expressway has brewed palpable fear that if the scourge goes unchecked, the once fast-developing community still wooing real estate investors and residents, will suffer a setback.
The community which has five estates ( Sheriff View, Oshurun, Harmony, River View and Isheri GRA) has become a goldmine for the daredevil kidnappers who are not ready to stop their illegal activities.

Shameful!!! What are the governors of Lagos and Oyo states doing to demolish the activities of those devilish kidnappers? I guess they don’t care since non of their friends, associates and family members lives in that community. Security of residents and their properties should be the main duty of any active, committed, and reasonable government at all levels. Those vulnerable residents of ISECOM doesn’t have to beg the state governor or police to protect them, but our government doesn’t care about the wellbeing, security, and creating economic opportunity for our people. What a society we live and called our homes!
