Karibi Fubara Is Dead: Nollywood Actor Dies A Year After Battling Kidney Cancer

The family of fast rising Nollywood actor Karibi Fubara is mourning his untimely demise.

The actor who made his post-cancer debut in the Smart Money Woman movie reportedly passed away early this week.

The actor who may not be a familiar face to all was happily married to celebrity stylist Yolanda Okereke.

In May 2020, the actor did a life saving surgery for the removal of a cancerous tumor from his kidney.

He returned to acting early this year.

Karibi Fubara’s death was announced by his UK-based sister, Aya Eneli on Twitter yesterday.

Here is how Aya broke the sad news;

“My brother, Karibi Fubara, has joined the ancestral realm. I’m devastated, but not hopeless. He lived fully and with joy. Left a great body of work. Will be a powerful ancestor. I love you, #ChiefBlack. I do not own the rights to this song,” .
