The first Lassa fever outbreak in Nigeria in 2016 has claimed the life of 1.
2 other victims have been placed in isolation in Taraba state.
Taraba State Health Commissioner, Innocent Vakkai said blood samples of those affected have been taken to the laboratory for further testing.
Lassa fever killed a doctor and 2 nurses and 7 patients in Taraba state in 2012 in a similar outbreak.
