Mercy Aigbe & Husband Lanre Gentry Fight For Custody Of Son, Actress Late Arrival Stalls Trial

Mercy Aigbe’s late arrival today stalled the trial of her estranged hubby, Lanre Gentry before an Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court.

The estranged couple were scheduled to appear together before Justice Folakemi Davies Abegunde today.

Lanre Gentry arrived at the court around 9am today dressed in a buba and sokoto with matching palm sandal and was calm in appearance all through.

However, his estranged wife was not in court.

The couple currently fighting over the custody of their son were out of sight around 11:05am when the court clerk first called the matter.

When the matter was called again around 11:25am, Gentry responded and went inside the chamber with his lawyer.

He came out around 11:43am and immediately left the court premises with his counsel.

Mercy Aigbe dressed in a white long gown with dotted pics of apple later surfaced after her estranged hubby had left.

She was accompanied to the court by her lawyer Uche Ani.

The two came out around 12:05pm after obtaining an adjournment date for the matter.

The case will come up for trial on the 28th of June.

Mercy Aigbe and Lanre Gentry marriage produced a 6-year-old boy Olajuwon Michael Gentry.

Aigbe’s daughter Michelle is from her first marriage.
