The reigning Miss Asaigbo has been arrested and remanded in Kirikiri prisons in Lagos.
The suspect, Ugwu Joy was said to have duped innocent Nigerians who sought her help for overseas visa and business opportunities of N7.5million.
She landed in trouble after police received a series of complaints from her victims.
Before her arrest, she was the symbol of the Igbo nation. She was expected to model the defining character of the people- enterprise, industry and moral character.
The ESUT undergraduate who lost her parents as a child set up a foundation to care for the needy and vulnerable kids after she was crowned.
If found guilty of the allegations brought against her, she will be stripped off her crown for disgracing the Igboland.
As it is now, she has been abandoned in Kirikiri over her inability to meet her bail conditions.

Accused they did say haven’t proven her to be guilty.Don’t judge her because U weren’t actually there from the onset of the scenario….I know Queen Joy Ugwu…..for good and she will forever be known for good…Few months ago it was Queen Chidimma Okeke…and its on a cool track right now……and someone out there wants to tarnish Queen Joy Ugwu’s image a.k.a Asaigbo…..
