Nigeria’s Oldest Musician, Saxophonist Dies Aged 94 In Abak Akwa Ibom State
Akwa Ibom based saxophonist and oldest member of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Emmanuel Ntia, has died.
The veteran musician passed away at the age of 94 in his home in Abak town Akwa Ibom state on Monday the 5th of November 2018.
His hit song, “The Fish Song” rocked the dance halls in the late 60s and early 70s.
Late Ntia is considered the oldest saxophonist in Nigeria.
May his soul rest in peace.
