Feb 14, 2015 – Nollywood Actor OC Ukeje Talks About Canada-Based Wife & How They Handle Long Distance Marriage

OC Ukeje who married his Canada-based sweetheart last year has spoken up for the first time since the lavish wedding.

The actor said female fans are sending him dirty and hate messages over his choice of wife.

“I got so many hate messages from female fans. We get messages like that every day but you do not know who is serious and who is joking. I just take all of them at face value and move on because at the end of the day, they are just fans.” Ukeje told Encomium.

Hear what the actor said about his long distance marriage:

“I cannot complain. Things are off on a good start. I am a happy man and I intend to stay like this for the rest of my life and I think my wife has made an honest man out of me. We spoke about the distance between us before we got married. It is something that must be addressed. I do my best to stay faithful to the one that I decided to remain faithful to for the rest of my life. We do our best to stay in touch with each other every day so that we would know what we are up to. We make sure we stay in constant touch with each other,” he said.

Long distance is not healthy for any relationship. Couples should try and work on staying together to avoid temptations.

  1. You brought this upon yourself. where did u find the dirty ****** girl where there are qualified singles from Abia state

    • @Juliet-“****o” Ogonna,U should be ashamed of this ur bigoted and myopic statement that is so laced with tribal hatred.
This lady U are referring to is 110 times better than U .She is a well brought up and educated lady. In fact her mother was the Principal of Queens college Lagos, if at all, U know where that is, cuz I know U a just a common village girl from Abia state.

Miss Juliet -**** Ogonna, what is ur reason for your hatred of this girl other than tribal hatred?
U should infact count, OC Ukeje, lucky for marrying a Canadian citizen.
One advice for U, the world has no time for a bigoted ,nomadic-tribalistic myopic illiterate village girl like U .
Infact U should be banned from making comments on this site.
Thank-God you used your name so the world can see and know the type of hatred you harbour for people just because of where they come from.
      You r just too shameless.
I did not want to give you my time reacting to U ,but I just could not believe what I read from U.I really cannot fathom that shameless bigoted tribalistic illiterate thing-like u still exist in this world.
Do you think U and the remaining people like U can live in this world alone in Nigeria???
I really pity ur ignorance because u are still walking in darkness with so much light around you. Also you are completely blind with ur two eyes wide open.
You are just a disgrace to all other honest and loving people of ur tribe, except of course if they all think like you, then they themselves would not be ashamed of U and ur utterances.

      • @Teco,you just took the words out of my mouth. This Juliet thing is a jealous, bitter non entity.OC is happily married so Juliet get a life.

    • Juliet Ogonna,U r always so full of hatred ,envy and jealousy for anyone that is not from ur *******tribe. I pity u, shame on U .
      Ewu!!!!Mtchewwwwwwwwww.

      Agaracha!!!!!

  2. pls u guys shld let juliet b,is a free world so evrybody has the rite 2 say their mind.well juliet dnt mind them,be urslf nd b the best u cn b.as 4 ur haters nd bzy bodies they shld go nd sit down

    • If you can type such a message, I am convinced that you are just like Juliet or probably even worst. FYI, no one is hating on Juliet, she is just looked down upon because of her ignorance and hatred for Yoruba people. Bye

  3. Juliet, your comment is unwarranted. Nigeria is so mixed up now that there should be no room for tribal hatred. I know a lot of Ibos both men and women who married Yorubas and other tribes and they are happy. Marriage should be between the two lovers who agreed to stay together for the rest of their lives. Marrying someone from your place or tribe does not guarrantee you happiness.
