Feb 24, 2013 – Nigerian Gospel Singer Lanre Teriba Atorise Robbed & Attacked In South Africa; Shot On The Leg
Talented Nigerian gospel singer, Lanre Teriba popularly called Atorise who came into limelight after the released of hit album Atorise escaped a serious armed robbery attack in South Africa last week.
According to sources, the ace gospel musician left Nigeria with Juju singer Dele Taiwo last week for a valentine concert titled Praise Night.
Dele Taiwo and Lanre Teriba performed together at West End Theater in Pretoria South Africa last Friday and the show was a huge success.
As the show rounds up, we learnt some attackers rushed into the G2 Entrance of the popular theater in Pretoria South Africa.
Gunshots were fired into the air to disperse the crowds.
The gospel singer who suffered serious gunshot wounds in the attack was also robbed of his Golden wrist watch, undisclosed amount of cash, IPad and Blackberry Porch.
He was shot in the leg by the suspected robbers.
Lanre Teriba was immediately rushed to an hospital in Pretoria for medical treatment. He has since been discharged.
A source who sent NaijaGists.com an email with the attached photo this afternoon said the singer is recovering well.
The above photo was taken on Monday during a courtesy visit to him.

So sorry to hear that,but I’m sure it’s the handwork of Nigerians that lives in South Africa,because they are damn too much over there and they have no job,all they do is engage all dirty stuffs like stealing.I know a lot of them there struggling to meet ends need.

lanre is a powerful man of God and there is no doubt that God was with him the whole time and carried him thru. he was shot as a gentle reminder to keep the faith in all things keep trusting in God. he is at home now doing fine nothing can stop God’s people from saying his word. one day every tongue will confess and every knee will bow!
