  1. WELL, IN AS MUCH AS I DISAGREES WITH THIS [email protected]@L AND THINK HE IS OUT OF HIS MIND, I ALSO SEES HIS POINT SINCE HE MADE REFERENCE TO THE BIBLE…TO BE HONEST,THE BIBLE WAS/IS VERY SEXIST, UNJUST AND DOES TREAT WOMEN UNFAIRLY AND AS UNEQUAL TO MEN…WOMEN WERE ALSO CONSIDERED INFERIOR TO MEN. STARTING FROM GENESIS!..TRUTH BE TOLD!

  2. In this man’s house, there must be rules on everything: when to wake up, when to sleep, where to sit down, etc. Failure to observe them would attract serious consequences. I would have recommended a female army officer for his wife, but I have realised that even those people are romantic. I am just hoping it’s all a joke. We never can tell. But should he mean it, then I’d pray for his wife everyday. A man as austere as this can never hide it. Any woman that goes for it knows what she is looking for.

  3. This man is a local and village champion. This type of man will find fault in anything his wife does. E.g
The wife must serve him with the parts of meat meant for men.
Must serve him with a particular plate, spoon, cup, etc. which if used by anyone, is a great offence.
She must never finish the last drop/drink in cup and bottle
Must lie on a particular side of bed, i.e the left or right side.
Must not cross, hold, touch and kiss him while they are in one bed
Must not talk and laugh in his presence
Must kneel before serving him food.
Must call him sir or lord,
Must wake by 4am to prepare his bathing water and food, must wash and iron his cloths,
She must dress in wrapper and head tie etc. disobeying the above commands, means she’s not brought up well. I once had an encounter with this type of human.

  4. Ola, I fault every bit of your claim. God recognises the importance of heirachy. In an organisation where there is no boss, everything is hairwire. That is why the woman is placed under the man. The bible commands women to respect their husbands, and bids men to love their wives. If these commands were followed to the core today, we would not be having all these issues we are facing today.

You claim to know the bible but all I can see is that you read it with an already blocked mind. The bible is never a sexist, in your words. The Songs of Solomon alone is enough to drive home my point. A woman who says the things that are mentioned there is not the kind that cowers in fear before her husband: she rather feels so free and safe with him that she could tell him anything and touch him anywhere, including the head or the beards.

I have to advice you to go back and pick up your bible, approach it the way a primary school pupil approaches his texts—with a desire to learn, not with an intention to critisize.

    • SO YOU AGREED WITH ME THAT THE BIBLE DOES FAVOUR MEN BY PLACING THEM OVER WOMEN!!! LOL
WELL, THATS WHAT SEXIST IS MY FRIEND. FYI, I HAVE READ THE BIBLE VERY WELL, I STARTED WITH AN OPEN MIND.. I’M NOT A PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPIL, THE BIBLE IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT TO READ OR UNDERSTAND FOR ME…I CAN LIST MANY VERSES FOR YOU WHERE THE BIBLE TREATS WOMEN AS INFERIOR…
IF I CRITISIZE THE BIBLE, IT’S SIMPLY BECAUSE ITS OPEN TO CRITICISM…AND YOUR JOB AS A CHRISTIAN IS TO STAND UP AND DEFEND IT BY ANSWERING EVERY QUESTION THAT MIGHT COME YOUR WAY… I APPLAUD YOU FOR YOUR FAITH. I’LL RATHER USE ***********

      • @Ola, sexism, isn’t it about discrimination against women? If you discriminate against somebody, would you care half a hoot about their feelings or welfare? Now when the bible commands the man to love his wife, what is it all about?

        • SEXISM;(actions based on) the belief that the members of one sex are less intelligent, able, skilful, etc. than the members of the other sex, especially that women are less able than men:

SEXISM;unfair treatment of people because of their sex; especially : unfair treatment of women

SEXISM; 1. Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.
          2. The belief that one gender is superior to the other, especially that men are superior to women.

          • Ola, I am going to ask you between the man and the woman, which is physically stronger. If you dare answer the man, you have become a sexist. If you say they are equal, you are a fantastically corrupt liar. I am just hoping that your answer wouldn’t be the woman, or I’d recommend detention for you.

You evaded the question I asked you. Or was it intentional? You are one of the sensible commentators in this forum, and as such you know how to critically and objectively analyze situations. And so, I am gonna ask again, if the bible discriminates against the woman, why does it command the man to love her? Love and discrimination, are the two ideas not mutually exclusive? Is it possible for them to exist in the same place at the same time?

  5. WOMEN ARE LOOKING FOR BETTER BAGS , NO BE TIRE TIRE BAGS !.I LAUGH IN SPAINISH ! NA EVERY HEAD WOMEN DEY TOUCH ? WHEN D MAN CANAFFORD ONLY TRANSPORT FARE , WHICH WOMAN WILL TOUCH THAT DRRRRRRRY -HEAD ? DRYHEAD- DRYPOCKET – DRY LAW – DRY LOVE -DRYFOOD– DRYSEXXXXXXXXXXXXXX – DRYTAAAAAAALK !!!

  6. I am sorry for the woman who will marry this man if he is not married already. The woman and the children are in perpetual bondage and will have no freedom. A man that is so strict will be more brutal than Abacha was to Nigeria and the wife will be counting her days. It is a pity.

  7. He must have some deficiency for thinking in such a stupid manner…
Hw can someone even hv 2 think of such rubbish tin in da first place…well there z nothing absolute wrong wit dat except d woman z doing it during d time of quarrel or misunderstanding..which z even generally understandable.

  8. The BIBLE is complete in all ramifications and void of error. While making comment, be very careful so that you don’t incur God’s wrath upon yourself.

  9. Well, if there‘s love in the home, there will be no such Law as dont touch my head or I show you the way to your father‘s house to aquire more manners or trainings.

By the rules of Godly marriage, your body belong to your wife and vice versa.
Some hypocrites randy husbands who will raise oputa pannel at home against their wives not to touch their heads will go pick a sweet sixteen to a lodge where the girl will not only touch their heads but also suck their -john thomas-
    Thats a man of 40-45yrs.
And here somebody is saying native primitive bla bla bla.

    I take a stroll…

  10. There is nothing bad in a woman touching his husband head, it is not home training stuff. Thank you

  11. Africa brain, she can’t touch your head and bear bear, it’s disrespecful but she can touch the head of your dick rub it anyhow and even touch the bear bear of your akpa amu without complain, what a coconut head set of men have we in nigeria,my wife can touch me any where,, my head, bears, she can even give me a knock on my head once it’s done with for a joke

  12. Wonders will never cease. So what about the man who touches his wife’s head in the name of admiring her hair or when he does it with her? Does it mean the wife is a slave?

  13. may God save we women,dt is y domestic violence is on high rate.dictatoring n domineering man is nt worth living wt

  14. Ola, I am going to ask you between the man and the woman, which is physically stronger. If you dare answer the man, you have become a sexist. • I WAS JUST SNIFFING THROUGH THE OLD NEWS AND SAW THAT YOU RESPONDED TO MY LAST POST.
      TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, MEN ARE MOST PHYSICALLY STRONGER THAT WOMEN AND THAT IS NOT SEXIST MY FRIEND, IT’S JUST A PLAIN FACT!! WHAT IS SEXIST IS WHEN THE BIBLE SAYS;

      1 Corinthians 14:34 – 35*

      34. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
(Woman to be silent in church. A woman is not to speak in church)

      Romans 7:2

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to [her] husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of [her] husband.
(woman bound to her husband for life)

      Genesis 3:16*

      16. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
(Women will be ruled by men)

NOW, ABOUT YOUR QUESTION OF THE BIBLE COMMANDING YOU TO LOVE YOUR WIFE, YES IT INDEED SAYS TO LOVE YOUR WIFE, WHICH IS ONE OF MANY BIBLES CONTRADICTIONS AND INCONSISTENCIES, IT ALSO OUTLINE HOW YOU OUGHT TO TREAT YOUR SLAVE, WILL THE BE FAIR TO CONCLUDE THAT THE BIBLE IS IN SUPPORT OF SLAVERY? IF YES! THEN WHAT KIND OF BOOK IS THE BIBLE?

i GUESS WHAT I’M SAYING IS THAT YOU CAN LOVE SOMEONE AND STILL BE SEXIST TOWARD THEM WITHOUT THEM EVEN REALIZING IT…IT’S JUST A BRAINWASHED TACTICS. I EXPERIENCED A LOT OF SUCH WHILE I WAS IN THE MILITARY..

IN 1962 I BELIEVE, HILLARY CLINTON WROTE TO NASA ABOUT HER INTEREST IN BECOMING AN ASTRONAUT, THEY REPLIED BY SAYING “WE DON’T TAKE GIRLS” THAT IS JUST PLAIN SAD.. TODAY WE HAVE MANY OUTSTANDING WOMEN ASTRONAUT..

LOOK FRIEND, I LIKE EXCHANGING VIEWS WITH YOU, REGARDLESS OF OUR DEREFERENCES OF OPINIONS AND VALUES, I’M ACTUALLY A GOOD AND KIND INDIVIDUAL. MY ISSUES ARE SIMPLE, I HATE INJUSTICE OF ANY KIND AGAINST ANYONE, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, WOMEN, ELDERLY AND ANY KIND OF MINORITY, INCLUDING GAYS! MY THEORY IS THAT IF GOD CREATES EVERYONE, HE MUST HAVE CREATED GAYS TOO, AND IF HE DOESN’T LIKE ANY OF HIS CREATION,I’M SURE HE KNOWS HOW TO RECTIFY THAT, NOBODY IN THIS WORLD TODAY HAVE ANY MORAL JUSTIFICATION TO CAUSE HARM TO ANOTHER PERSON, WHEN THE HAVE NOT PHYSICALLY HURT ANYONE… I’M NOT SURE IF THIS FORUM ALLOWS EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION, I WOULDN’T MIND GIVING YOU MY INFO, MAYBE WE CAN’T ALWAYS CHAT AND EXCHANGE OUR VIEWS..

I PICKED ON THE BIBLE BECAUSE THE BOOK HAS/IS BEEN USED TO COMMIT MANY ATROCITY AND IS STILL BEEN USE TO MANIPULATE AND TO SELL FALSE HOPE TO VULNERABLE AND DESPERATE INNOCENT PEOPLE TODAY.

      STAY BLESSED!

  15. This Austine of a man is either from Isiala Ngwa, Benue or Kogi, because it is these sets of people that thinks backwards when it comes to a woman respecting a man. A woman has the right to touch any part of her husband’s body. The bible never spoke against a woman touching her husband in any part she feels like touching him. So Mr Austine Ejekee, please…mtcheeeew

  16. Ola, I am going to ask you between the man and the woman, which is physically stronger. If you dare answer the man, you have become a sexist. 17. @Ola, I had waited patiently, knowing that there’s no way that this discussion would end without touching these two, namely slaves and women’s conduct in the synagogue as recommended by the bible. It is not illogical to infer here that the bible is an exponent of slavery and sexism. But the truth I make very bold to say is that that is merely the face value of those bible passages, for in fact, the bible abhors both practices.

For us to fully grasp what is happening her, let us consider these two concepts: THE WILL OF GOD and THE “permissive” WILL OF GOD. Both may seem the same, but in deed are not. Prophet Balaam’s story in the bible is a classical case that would help us here. God had told him not to curse the Israelites (Will of God). But because Balaam could not resist the silver and gold offered to him by Balak his client, he so importuned God the much that God had to allow him to go and curse the Israelites (Permissive will of God). And so, without putting things in their proper perspectives, one would therefore be tempted to conclude that God had willed that His people be placed under some irrevocable curses.

Another case is also when Jesus, knowing how stubborn and selfish that human beings are, had to permit divorce. If you read Malachi 2:16, you may be shocked to hear God in that passage saying without ambiguity that He hates divorce. Yet Jesus had to permit it later. However, to proove that the bible is not contradicting itslef, it provides that divorcees should never marry again except they go back to their first partners from whom they had divorced. Any other thing they do aside from that is sinful, no matter how we try to explain it away these days using fickle human wisdom.

Dear Ola, this same permissiveness is applicable to slavery in the bible. The ancient civilization of those days had legalised slavery and the bible had to give recommendations as to how a slave and his master could maintain a godly relationship while at the same time making its full stance on the practice known when it reminds the slave masters that they and their slaves have the same Master in heaven(Ephesians 6:9). Now, Ola, consider this: If you and I have to report to the same master, does that not suggest that we are equal? If the slave and his master are viewed as equal, nobody is a slave anymore. And neither would be a master.

To conclude, Ola, there is what people mean when they say, Read between the lines. The bible puts it in a terrifying way when it says that the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life(2 Corinth. 3:6). A man who reads the letters in the bible only gathers knowledge that is just good for debates, but do not nourish the soul or edify. Such knowledge would at last be used against that person on the Judgement Day. But when the Spirit of God ministers unto a heart the reason(Spirit) behind every written word, such a heart is saved, and ends up saving many others. God’s ways are higher than our ways. We should not expect to fully understand Him. A being that I totally understood and predictable is unfit for deity.

    Have a happy Sunday!
