October 16, 2017 – Nigerian Police Denies Extorting N50Million From Evans The Kidnapper, Urges His Lawyers To Stop Misleading Public

The NPF on Sunday released a press statement to distance police officers who arrested Evans the kidnapper from the extortion allegation put forward by his lawyers.

In a press statement dated October 15, 2017, the Nigeria Police Force denied the allegations.

In addition, the force warned Evans lawyer Olukoya Ogungbeje to stop his deliberate motive to pervert end of justice.

    This is Nigeria for you,anything can happen….so police are now on defensive… Typical example of ‘IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO CATCH A CRIMINAL,THEN THE CRIMINAL WILL CATCH YOU’. This is not helping their tainted name.

    Evans already sold his right the moment he was caught. That is the price to pay for being a harden criminal. The victims under your custody were more humiliated than this. You dehumanize them and treated them worst than this. You just have to swallow that and keep your mouth shut. Whatever happened to your family is your damn fault.
