The wife of an elderly monarch in Ondo state has died 10 days after she was kidnapped.

Olori Dupe Lumure, the wife of Oba Ayelomi of Ayeka in Okitipupa area of Ondo State was kidnapped last week at her home in Erinje area of the state.

Two days after her abduction, the kidnappers demanded for 30 million naira from the monarch.

Fellow Nigerians, how come is it that whenever tragic incident like this happens,we always failed to come up with tougher measure to bring these incessant killing to a complete stop by sending the perpetrators behind prison bar or death chamber. Every time a sad event like this happens, all we say is God will catch up with the evil doers but we never make a move or push our law makers to come up with a new law that will make it mandatory of death penalty sentence to any Kidnapper, Political assassin, ritual people etc. Until when this is done this illogical killing will never stop. To be honest with you, Nigerians have not benefited from democracy in this Country. Right from the beginning of third republic, we have been having bad experience about ritual killing, political assassination, kidnapping this is because our politicians are using the same set of guys to commit their evil act and this makes me to have a second taught about politics in this Country that, are we really gaining anything from politics under the pretence of democracy?.
