May 8, 2017 – Nigerian Saxophonist Femi Kuti Invites Guinness World Record As He Attempts To Break Sax World Record
Femi Kuti broke the world record last night at the New Africa Shrine when he played the Saxophone for 46 minutes and 38 seconds. He broke the previous world’s record of 45 minutes 37 seconds set by legendary Saxophonist Kenny G back in December 1997.
However because the Guinness World Record was not aware of his performance, he has decided to invite them to the New Africa Shrine to attempt the feat again.
His sister, Yeni said he will attempt it again in two weeks time in the presence of representative from Guinness World Record.
