A team of surgical experts have successful removed a huge tumour from a pregnant woman at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
In the operation that lasted for 13 hours, a visiting Neuro Surgeon Professor Wale Sulaiman worked with about 6 other surgeons to remove a 12 centimetre-long tumour from a pregnant woman’s brain last week.

This was made known by Prof Sulaiman during a lecture he delivered at the University of Ilorin yesterday.
