  1. CONGRATS, countryman! Bolt has dominated the men’s tracks for many years now. Train harder to take his place when he finally bows out.

  2. I know this is just the heat. I wish you make it to the finals and give them a good run for their money. Wish you the best Divine!

  3. @metu i doubt him winning though i pray he wins because you can’t win anything with lack of Confidence and fear (from his words “the big man” “i never expected it” “i am humbled” shows he feels inferior…

    • @HUCHENNA, I NOTICED THAT AS WELL, LOL…. ITS TYPICAL OF US TO FEEL INFERIOR WHEN ABROAD OR DEALING WITH FOREIGNERS, SEEN IT TOO MANY TIMES.
WHAT WE FAIL TO REALIZE IS THAT WESTERNERS TAKE OUR SO CALL HUMBLENESS AS A SIGN OF INFERIORITY SO THAT THEY USED IT AGAIST US… SPEAKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE….MOSTLY IN THE UNITED STATES…WE SHOULD BE PROUD,STAND TALL WITH OUR HEADS UP,SPEAK FIRMLY AND WITH CONFIDENCE. THATS HOW YOU COMMAND RESPECT, EVEN FROM PEOPLE THAT DISAGREES WITH YOU….

    • @HUCHENNAR, I admit it is virtually impossible for another guy to win when Bolt is there. That is why I said when he eventually bows out.

  4. Thank you Oduduru for making it to Semi final. Who knows this guy may secure medal. You never know until you try. Keep trying and put in your best bro. Hussain Bolt has been a three consecutive winner of Olympic in 100 & 200 meters. This guy from small island of Jamaica has set the world record and I congratulate him on his success.

Gone are those days when US track and field dominated world track and field with Ben Johnson, Carl Lewis, Michael Johnson, Justin Gatlin etc not knowing that they were using performance enhance drugs to become world champion. Justin Gatlin of United State who came up 2nd in the Rio have been suspended by Anti Doping Agency for tested positive for performance enhancing drug. Now the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have changed the face of Olympic sport which will make it possible for somebody like Ofuduru to win a medal.

Recently in Rio, the IOC deliberately changed their tactics in trying to challenge Hussain Bolt capability. The IOC told the contestant to get ready for the final after just finishing semi-final. They were thinking of how to get ready for final but the IOC said they have been schedule to run for the final that same day. I was chocked when that guy was briefing the news men. They never done that before and that guy Hussain won again follow by Gatlin.

Folks, the IOC have changed their style. They want to make sure that if you are really up to the task, then you can proof yourself without using drug or performance enhancing drug. The anti doping agency knows how to spot you if you are on drug. They pick their candidates randomly and test them for doping.

Hussain Bolt situation is different this guy has a track record from high school. They did a lot of research on this guy to make sure he is not using any drug. Fast forward to Nigeria, l learnt some of our Athletics were stranded in Atlanta and they were told to sponsor themselves to Rio that Olympic is not by force. Is our Sport Minister a dunce? this is why it will be difficult for us to excel in the world if we don’t know the value of international sport. As the most populous black nation, Nigeria should be eyeing between 12-15 Gold. We suppose to produce 10 Hussain to compete in this Olympic.
