January 1st, 2018 – Nigeria’s First Babies Of Year 2018, Set Of Twins Delivered At Ikorodu Lagos General Hospital Hours Apart
Lagos State First Lady, Bolanle Ambode welcomed the first set of babies delivered in Nigeria this morning.
The babies (a set of twins) were delivered at 12:23am (female) and 3:29am (male) at the Ikorodu General Hospital to the family of Mr and Mrs Adeoye Kehinde by Cesarean section.
The second baby of the year was delivered at Gbagada General Hospital through normal delivery at 4:35am.
Though other babies were delivered in different states of the country but their exact time of birth were not made official.
