Eddie Ugbomah Is Dead..Nollywood Actor & Filmmaker Dies Of Brain Disease

Veteran Nollywood actor and top producer Eddie Ugbomah has lost his battle to brain aneurysm disease.

The filmmaker who has been battling the condition for so many years cried out few weeks ago after he couldn’t raise the money needed to carry out a life-saving surgery on his brain.

Sadly the N50million he needed couldn’t be raised after crying out to the public.

Even though his colleagues tried to raise some money for him, all their efforts become futile after his SOS message to his state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa was ignored.

In his desperate bid to raise the money, he even sold his jeep and car but still couldn’t raise close to the N50Million required to save his life until some Nigerians in the diaspora came to his rescue.

Pa Ugboma who was supposed to undergo a life-saving surgical operation on Monday the 13th of May 2019 died at the age of 78 today Saturday the 11th of May 2019 at a private hospital in Lagos.

His death was announced today by the Chair of his fund raising committee, Adedayo Thomas.

Here is Pa Ugboma last appeal before his condition became critical.

“I haven’t got cancer, tumour or diabetes, my recent scan says the disease in my brain is on a vein and has to be operated and treated by some shock treatment.”

“I have sold my house and I have also sold my jeep, I even sold it cheap but that hasn’t bought my ticket. I am 78, if I have to lose my teeth I don’t mind, after all, I am old, but my brain is being scattered.”

All his symptoms are related to a critical condition called brain aneurysm.

May his soul rest in peace.
