Nollywood Celebrities Gear Up For ‘Blark Gold’ Annual Charity Event

Nollywood actress Adediwura Gold is set for the 8th edition of her annual event tagged Giving Is Fun Initiatives, which will hold on November 24, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The event is aimed at soliciting support for widows. According to founder, Adediwura Blark Gold, the initiative is to empower widows to be self-accountable and self-reliant.

“Hence my mission is to support every widow in our society through whatever legal means I could get help from, thereby extricating them from poverty,” she said.

Activities to be held at the event include – eye screening and provision of necessary drugs and eye glasses, sharing of relief materials, physical and financial assistance to widows who are in need and creation of employment opportunities for widows through skill acquisition trainings and seminars.

Stars expected at the event are Femi Adebayo, Fausat Balogun, Kemi Afolabi, Funsho Adeolu, Lateef Adedimeji, Aishat Lawal, Ireti Osayemi, Ara (Drummer), Dayo Amusa and Bimbo Thomas.
