Olusola Saraki died today, Wednesday Nov 14, 2012 at a private hospital in Lagos after a prolonged battle with an unspecified illness.

The former Waziri of Ilorin Emirate was born in Ilorin, Kwara state Nigeria on the 17th of May year 1933.

Olusola Saraki’s body will flown back to Ilorin today for burial in accordance to Islamic rites.

He died at the age of 79.
