Omotola Jalade: Nigerian Youths Are Difficult To Fight For

Nollywood veteran Omotola Jalade has talked openly about her concern with Nigerian youths.

Recalling her participation in the first peaceful protest organised by coalition group, Enough is Enough Nigeria (EiE), in 2010, the delectable actress noted that though she is a passionate activist, she has not enjoyed the kind of encouragement she deserves from Nigerian youths.

“The youths sometimes are the ones that discourage you. As an activist, besides passion, you have to feel encouraged. Like the people you’re doing it for are behind you. Many Nigerian youths are morally and physiologically lost. I’m sorry but this is the reality”, she said.

She added that she may be losing the passion she once had for being a voice for the younger generation.

“I’m afraid I might be losing my fire, I was so on fire here. I still feel the burner bringing the heat; just ensure I haven’t lost the hope in humanity to light it again as much.”

  1. They are easily manipulated..look at the man that called them lazy, came back and bought them over..and they started sai buhari.4 plus 4…..not worth fighting for

  2. Fighting for Nigeria youths in general is a waste of time, try to identify where you belong, Biafra, Oduduwa or Arewa, focus on any at the moment to liberate your own people, after then, we can renegotiate the unity if possible.

There is no doubt that the cabals from different geopolitical zones are united against the masses, they are succeeding because they are few in number, so they are pinning each region/zone against the other for them to flourish, let each region organize themselves and deal with their own cabals.

Unity without LOVE is useless and there is no strength in fake unity.

  3. She seriously don’t know what she is saying , First !!.. She said is fighting for d youth on wat platform ? Secondly why didn’t she get up n be fighting when she’s still in her 20’s ? Dis people just want more publicity that’s all nothing more … Abeg make she go sit down one side Jare …
