EFCC operatives today arrested the duo of Abbas Attahiru and Mohammed Sufiyanu for offences bordering on impersonation and obtaining by false pretence in Abuja.
Attahiru and Sufiyanu’s arrest followed a complaint by a would be victim, that the suspects claiming to be staff of EFCC, informed him of a petition purportedly written against him.
According to the complainant, the suspects promised to give him a “soft landing” provided he was ready to part with some money.
Suspecting a foul play, the complainant contacted the Commission and he was asked to play along as the EFCC does not solicit for, nor accept payments/gratification from persons or organisations under any guise to settle matters.
The suspects were apprehended at the complainant’s home after collecting N100,000 (One hundred thousand naira) which was part of their “agreed fee” to “kill the case”.
The suspects would be charged to court as soon investigations are concluded.

Funny; reminds me of my younger brother’s dog that once swallowed a huge bone by mistake. The bone could neither go down past the throat, nor up to be vomitted. Gawd! I felt so sorry for that dog that day. If you had seen the struggle that day eh, you will know that even dog no wan die but e wan go heaven.
Why I had digressed like this is that those two criminals have swallowed what is bigger than their throat, and beleive you me, they are struggling now.

If every other persons will be sharp as the would have been victim, some evils/corruption would have decreased at the rate at which it has been happening. They should be jailed defrauding. Thief, good for them .
